To educate, inspire and empower people to grow their own food, cook healthy meals and provide them with the tools they require to feed their families nourishing meals.
Most people today are overfed and under nourished. Our “nutrition and your family” workshop teaches people how to eat a balanced healthy diet based on eating wholefoods instead of the processed modified products that masquerade as food.
We offer cooking classes and teach people how to make simple low cost meals that are healthy and taste delicious. We sponsor community dinners twice a week where people gather at our soup kitchen to enjoy a low cost healthy home cooked meal while socializing with fellow community members.
We operate a food bank out of the soup kitchen and provide food to families in time of need. We help local schools establish healthy lunch programs and provide them with healthy meals and snacks for students in need.
We help build, plant and maintain raised-bed community vegetable gardens. We provide cedar wood garden boxes filled with super rich soil mix and organic vegetable seedlings to plant.
